So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

There are so many choices in life that we have to make. In the midst of our indecisiveness, opportunity can sometimes pass us by. We can’t decide whether we want to choose purple or blue, chocolate or vanilla, this opportunity or that. Sometimes this can leave us paralyzed and unable to make a clear decision. We are on the fence concerning our choices and have no clear direction to choose. In this midst of all these choices, there is one very important choice to make. That choice is to live for God each day. That means that choices become clear when it comes to right or wrong. Some people like to live what seems to be an admirable life on one day, and then switch up the next. We do not want to be hypocrites. Remember that you are an example for others and your clear and consistent choice for God each day can help someone else make that same clear decision. Let us make the clear decision not to be lukewarm, so that we do not reap the consequences of our poor decisions later.
